New Construction, Veterans Parkway East, Rantoul

The next phase of Veterans Parkway will extend Veterans Parkway from Cook Street to Maplewood Drive, a three-quarter mile section. The firm has provided: a topographic survey, project development report, drainage study, location design report complete with alternatives, design and specifications with horizontal and vertical alignment, intersection design, traffic signal design at Veterans Parkway and Maplewood Drive, public relations, estimating, earthwork calculations, traffic capacity, analysis, and construction administration. The design phase was completed in May 2002, with bid letting in July. Central Illinois Tile was awarded the low bid of this $3.8 million construction section.
